From Christchurch
Travel time from Christchurch is approximately 5 hours, depending on weather, traffic and how many photos you stop to take along the way.
Travelling through the Lewis Pass is spectacular and the landscapes change dramatically along your journey. You'll take Highway 1 out of Christchurch, turning onto the 7 and then the 65.
Carry on on the 6 but look out for the Motueka Valley Highway just past Motupiko. You'll travel along this for approximately 50 minutes. You actually turn off to your holiday home before you reach Motueka.
Stony Ridge is just under 12 km from Ngamoti. Look for the Mytton Heights turnoff which is the last one on the right before Stony Ridge.
Turn right into Stony Ridge, veer right at the top and enjoy your holiday.

Motueka is well sign posted whether travelling from Nelson or Christchurch.
From Nelson
Take the scenic Coastal Highway (60) enjoying the views along the way. Pass Mapua, travel through Tasman and enter Motueka at the roundabout by Toad Hall.
Carry on up Motueka High Street until you come to the intersection with King Edward Street (if you've got to the main Motueka shops, you've gone too far). The Department of Conservation office is on your left and you'll see the Motueka Clock Tower. Turn left here. Stony Ridge Holiday home is 5.5km from the Clock Tower.
Travel down King Edward Street. Cross over Queen Victoria Street and carry on down College Street. College Street becomes Motueka Valley Highway and you'll now catch glimpses of the Motueka River.
Follow the highway and turn left into Stony Ridge Way. Veer right at the top - welcome to the start of your holiday.
